I highly recommend The Story of Manager Kim, a Homeowner in Seoul Working for a Major Corporation!

The Dream Life of Mr. Kim

Mr. Kim, a mid-level manager at the large corporation ACT, has finally achieved what many would envy—a home of his own in Seoul and what appears to be a “stable life.” However, at work he struggles under performance-based pressure and complicated office politics, while at home the responsibilities of being a husband and father weigh heavily on him. Amid these daily challenges, small misunderstandings and troubles continue to arise, and the life he once envisioned gradually begins to drift out of alignment with reality.

Even so, Mr. Kim presses on, striving each day to find a balance between work, family, and his own happiness. Through moments of laughter and tears, he slowly comes to realize what it is he truly wants to protect.

This drama stars the highly acclaimed Ryu Seung-ryong in the lead role. Opposite his strong and charismatic presence, Myung Se-bin plays his wife with a graceful and refined charm, while Cha Kang-yoon delivers a natural performance as their son. The casting feels perfectly matched.

In addition, the supporting cast also deliver remarkable performances. The drama stands out for its high quality, with little of the awkwardness or unnecessary exaggeration often seen in TV series.

It is especially recommended for viewers who connected with “Misaeng” or “My Mister.”
